The sun is not shooting out light/em wave/photon/energy to every direction, it only shares its vibration em force with matters surround. the energy/force strength is proportional to sun's temperature and mass, inversely proportional to distance square. 

The sun's energy is from star formation, not from ongoing nuclear reaction.

The sun will never cool off a bit without other huge mass come closer.

To understand all this, must understand atom structure first. 

Atoms are not as science told. 1 proton and 1 electron cannot form an hydrogen atom.

It is impossible. Opposite charges attract each other with super strong force. The only possibility is the 2 particles accelerate to each other and collide. 

It is impossible that the electron is circling or waving or clouding or orbiting the proton. No cause, no mechanism. 

So, what's the real structure of a hydrogen atom?

No 1 knows. My theory is

atoms are not as science told you

electrons are not moving around nucleus

there are tiny negative charged particles surround nucleus

like the crust surround earth core

electrons are like water float on the surface of atoms

if atoms are 99.99% empty like they told you

why matter is not compressible like a bubble?

why electrons are not stick to nucleus under attraction force?

see an atom closely

electrons are attracted by nucleus positive charge

repelled by crust/tiny negative charges attracted by proton formed ball (hydrogen atom without electron, so called proton)

balanced at atom radius without other force

now if you push the electron closer to the nucleus

you'll feel a force pushes you away

so all atoms are constantly vibrate under force/energy

the distance between nucleus and electrons are constantly changing due to energy/force

separated atoms/matters are connected by gravity

electrons on the surface of matters are constantly vibrate and produce vibrating EM force which energize other electrons on the line of sight surface atoms of other matters.

f=kq1q2/rr is the carrier of light/radiant energy/EM wave.

Maxwell was wrong about EM wave.

There is no electric field and magnetic field reproducing at right angle and move at light speed, no transverse waves travel in space. 

Why? Because both fields must have force carrier/charged particle to carry it. But space contains none. 

Free electrons in a conductor synchronized vibrate, produce vibrating EM field. Other free electrons in other conductors follow the vibrating energy/EM force and vibrate at the same frequency. 

That is the true mechanism of EM waves.
